hi! my name is katie! i’m originally from tennessee, but i’m currently studying english and creative writing in new york city. i love all things romance (books (duh lol), movies, songs, anything). i started reading at a very young age and quickly fell in love with it. my first true love sadly wasn’t romance by andrew clements novels (which is just the most random thing ever??). during the pandemic, i was reading more than i ever had and moved from ya romance novels to adult ones. i wanted to talk to someone about it, but none of my family members read romance or even really liked it (which is their loss). i had hoped to just meet a few people to scream about books with, but i’m so grateful for the community i’ve found.
i didn’t always want to be a writer –i really wanted to be an architect because i was really good at minecraft and also ted mosby — but somewhere along the way i found that i loved it just as much. i’m working on my revising my novel right now (which is like a dream sentence to even write) and i hope one day i’ll be able to share it with y’all <3 !
i feel like it’s also necessary for me to mention that i love taylor swift so so much (i’m from tennessee it’s required by law) so you’ll see a lot of taylor swift bookish posts because i can’t help but associate every book i read with a taylor swift song.
on this blog, i want to write more expansive reviews and talk at length about certain scenes i loved or how i felt about the book as a whole. i also…like to write…so i might add a personal post here or there. on the button above is my link tree to all my social media + amazon wishlist. i tend to be more active on my bookstagram because it’s easier to access, but i hope you enjoy this blog!
